Pulse Property has unveiled a structured training program designed to develop the industry’s future talent. The initiative provides aspiring real estate professionals with a clear pathway from foundational learning to hands-on experience in sales.
Pulse Property’s head of growth and performance, Larissa Reed, said the program offers a comprehensive approach that blends practical training, mentorship, and industry education. Since its inception earlier this year, six participants from the Sutherland Shire have already completed their initial certifications, marking a significant step in their real estate careers.
Over the next 6 to 12 months, participants will transition into sales associate roles, gaining expertise in core areas such as lead generation, customer relationship management, and database systems. As they progress, they’ll engage in advanced training covering negotiation techniques, campaign coordination, and property transaction strategies.
Each participant is paired with a mentor—an experienced industry professional—who provides ongoing support, insight, and real-world coaching. Reed highlighted the importance of this mentorship, stating that experienced agents play a crucial role in shaping the next wave of real estate talent.
“Our mentors bring a wealth of knowledge, strong communication skills, and a passion for developing new agents. Their guidance ensures trainees not only learn industry fundamentals but also gain confidence in real-world applications,” she said.

The training model incorporates hands-on learning, with participants shadowing seasoned agents, refining communication techniques, and receiving structured feedback on their client interactions. The program is performance-driven, tracking key productivity metrics such as prospecting activity, client engagement, and market appraisals.
Reed emphasised the program’s commitment to continuous assessment, stating that weekly performance reviews help trainees refine their skills.
“We track key performance indicators, including the number of calls made, digital and in-person appraisals, and overall engagement. Mentors provide real-time feedback to ensure each trainee is progressing effectively,” she explained.
Participants also gain experience in internal systems, assist with property inspections, and take part in both in-house and external training sessions with respected industry leaders.
One recent trainee has already secured a full-time sales associate position, showcasing the program’s success in fast-tracking real estate careers.
Agency director Ben Pike reinforced the value of the initiative, describing it as an essential stepping stone for aspiring agents.
“This program is designed to equip future professionals with the skills, confidence, and experience they need to excel in real estate,” he said.
The agency, which operates across key locations including Sutherland and Miranda, recently expanded its presence with the opening of a Cronulla office in February, following a strategic merger with Luxe Real Estate
