Harcourts announces new leadership in learning and development

Harcourts is pleased to announce an exciting leadership development that will strengthen its Learning and Development team.

Mitch Green, the Head of People and Culture, will now also lead the Harcourts Academy and the Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

Having dedicated over 14 years to Harcourts, Mitch began his career with the organisation in 2011 as HR Support. He quickly progressed to HR Manager in 2016, before stepping into the Head of People and Culture role in 2022.

Over the past three years, Mitch has increasingly contributed to the Learning and Development space, working closely with Irene Green and the team. This promotion is a natural evolution of his contributions and expertise, which will continue shaping the development of our workforce.

Mitch comments, "I'm excited to be more a part of the strategic direction and to work closer with our performance coaches and CEOs internationally, and to see what they'll deliver in their countries and states."

Irene Green, who has successfully led the Harcourts Academy and RTO Training Centre for over 20 years, will step down from her leadership position but remain a valued part of the team.

She will assist Mitch during the leadership transition with her extensive experience while continuing to contribute to the People and Culture team and support projects that further enhance the delivery of the Academy and RTO programmes.

"This leadership change reflects Harcourts’ commitment to continuous improvement and enhancing professional development opportunities for its team," points out Harcourts Managing Director Mike Green.

Harcourts remains committed to supporting its team members with best-in-class training and resources to drive growth and achievements in real estate.

"With Mitch’s vast experience and a clear vision, alongside Irene’s ongoing support, Harcourts is confident in the continued success of the Academy and RTO in creating valuable learning experiences."
